Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival 
Welcome to Siem Reap! Meet your driver and hop in a car or van for a transfer straight to your hotel. Check-in on arrival and the rest of the day is at leisure. With a history dating all the way back to the year 802, visiting Siem Reap is a highlight for many people traveling through Southeast Asia with a wealth of activities and attractions that go far beyond the ancient ruins down the road.

Day 3: Siem Reap to Banteay Srei Village (45kms by Tuk-Tuk, about 2h drive)
Get ready for an exhilarating tuk-tuk adventure through the Cambodian countryside, winding your way to Banteay Srei Village with a stop at Preah Dak Village along the way. Immerse yourself in Cambodian charm as you explore Preah Dak. See traditional stilted houses and peek into workshops where skilled artisans craft beautiful woodcarvings, silk scarves, and other souvenirs. Don't forget to tantalize your taste buds with a selection of delectable local snacks!  

Afterwards, continue your ride to Banyon Smile homestay. A delicious lunch awaits, followed by a relaxing break to recharge your batteries. In the afternoon, hop on a bicycle for a unique perspective of the village. Meander through charming streets, soaking up the local atmosphere. Feeling adventurous? Join in seasonal activities like rice planting or vegetable gardening and get a firsthand experience of Cambodian life. 

As the day draws to a close, return to your homestay for a traditional Khmer feast, ready to reminisce about your captivating adventures.

Day 4: Banteay Srei Village to Kampong Khleang (75kms by Tuk-Tuk, about 3h drive) 
After a taste of Cambodia with a simple breakfast, bid farewell to your friendly host and embark on your journey to Kampong Khleang. 
First, dive into the heart of local life with a visit to a bustling market. Here, vendors proudly display an array of fresh vegetables, glistening meats and fish, exotic fruits, and other treasures unique to the region. Soak up the vibrant atmosphere and witness the daily rhythm of Cambodian commerce. 

Refreshed from your market exploration, continue your ride into the countryside. Along the way, treat yourself to a delightful local snack called Kralan – sticky rice cooked to perfection inside bamboo stalks. Savor the unique flavor and texture of this traditional Cambodian treat as you travel through the picturesque landscapes, anticipation building for your arrival in Kampong Khleang. 

Arrive at Kampong Khleang in the afternoon and check into your homestay. Freshen up and enjoy a Sunset boat cruise with a delicious BBQ dinner. 
After dinner, explore the vibrant floating village of Kampong Khleang with your tour guide. Learn about the unique culture and customs of the villagers and see how they live and work in this unique environment. Your guide will share stories about the village's history and traditions and explain how the villagers support their daily lives. 

As you walk through the village, you will see people engaged in a variety of activities, such as watching TV with their families, making palm cakes for sale at the market, and preparing for the next day's work. You may also see local people selling street food, such as baby duck eggs dessert, which you can try if you're feeling adventurous. 

In the evening, the village comes alive with the sound of music and laughter. Local people often gather for small parties, where you can join in the fun by dancing or singing karaoke for free. It's a great opportunity to experience the warm hospitality of the Khmer people and learn more about their culture.

Day 5: Kampong Khleang to Siem Reap (70kms by Tuk-Tuk, about 4h drive)
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your homestay. Check out of your homestay and prepare for an exciting day of adventure. First, you will visit the pagoda to learn about Buddhism and Cambodian culture.   

Along the way, you will Learn to drive a tuk-tuk from your experienced driver on a quiet road in the village. Once you've mastered the basics, take a spin around the village and admire the beautiful rice fields. In the rainy season, the fields are lush green, while in the harvest season, they turn a golden hue. You may also have the opportunity to participate in seasonal activities such as rice planting, harvesting, or vegetable farming, or help locals clear grass.  

Immerse yourself in local life by visiting a family who crafts rice wine using traditional methods. Sample their creation and learn about the process. Afterward, head to Bakong village along the local road. There, you can witness families tending their morning glory crops, perhaps even lending a hand or simply exchanging greetings. 

You will be dropped off at your hostel during the evening at leisure.
