Transportation: Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus, Pokhara to starting location of the trek by public transportation
Miscellaneous: Porters, English speaking guide, trekking permits
 
Exclusions:
Travel Insurance (Compulsory), specifically for emergency evacuation from remote mountain locations
Tips and Gratuities
Personal expenses (such as laundry, phone calls, any kind of drinks, mineral water, extra snacks, desserts etc.)
Hot showers and attached bathrooms; should these be available in the teahouses and should the lodge owner charge extra for these.
Personal items such as medications, clothing and equipment
Any unforeseen expenses due to delays or diversion due to events outside the operator’s control, for example landslides, weather hazard, road blockage, cancellation/delays of flight or strikes etc

Itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu to Pokhara
We leave early in the morning from Kathmandu and make our way along river valleys, past terraced fields to Pokhara. It takes 6-7 hours' drive on the local tourist bus.

Transportation: Kathmandu to Pokhara by Public Bus
Accommodation: Budget hotel in Pokhara


Day 2: Pokhara to Tikhedhunga (1540m, trekking time 4-5 hours)
After breakfast we drove from Pokhara to Nayapul (1'035m). The drive is around 1.30 hours by bus (around 46 kms). After the drive you cross the suspension bridge over the ModiKhola river and ascend slowly through terraced fields and classic mountain villages up from the river valley to Tikhedhunga.

Day 3: Tikhedhunga (1540m) to Ghorepani (2750m, trekking time 6-7 hours)
You have a steep ascent to get you going and then a more gradual uphill walk takes you to your lodge at Ghorepani (2'750m). You will pass through some delightful villages and the beautiful, dense rhododendron forest so characteristic of Nepal at these altitudes. If the weather is clear, you will see stunning mountain views from Ghorepani, making the climb well worth it!

Day 4: Ghorepani (2750m) to Tadapani (2710m, trekking time 4-5 hours)
You get up early to hike to Poon Hill (3'210m) for sunrise; Approx. 1.30-hour hike Distance approx. 2 Kms. After breakfast back in Ghorepani you trek onwards to Tadapani (2'710m) through rhododendron forests. If you are lucky, you will see some wild animals, such as langur monkeys climbing through the trees. There are excellent views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhare from Tadapani.

Day 5: Tadapani (2710m) to Tolka (1700m, trekking time 5-6 hours)
We start our day passing through dense forest and fields before we arrive at the beautiful village "Ghandruk" and continue our down hill walk until new bridge. Cross the suspension bridge and our steep up hill trail to the village of landruk is waiting for us. From here graduall up hill through village and terrace takes us to Tolka for overnight.

Day 6: Tolka to Pokhara (trekking time 3-4 hours)
Gradual uphill walk continues through forest at the beginning up to Bhichuk and steep up hill from there to Pitam Durali. The trail now gradually descent with some uphill section up to Australian camp which offers nice view over the Himalaya and a final descent through terrace and small village to kande from where we take a drive back to Pokhara.
