Itinerary
Day 1: Kathmandu to Hattiban (trekking time 4-5 hours)
We'll leave Kathmandu early in the morning and make our way along river valleys, terraced fields, and small towns before getting to the trek's starting point. The day begins with a mostly uphill trail through villages to Hattibang (1'410m). Here you can enjoy the beautiful mountain view of Mt. Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Jugalhimal and Manaslu (if weather allows).

Transportation: Go Beyond Nepal to Trek Starting Point by Bus
Day 2: Hattibang to Upper Dangadi (trekking time 6-7 hours)
After having a traditional breakfast, we leave Hattibang and start our challenging uphill walk through the forest to Siraichuli. It’s the heighest point of our trek (1945 meters), and it offers a spectacular view including Annapurna, Manaslu and Rolwaling. After enjoying the view, we descended through the forest all the way to Upper Dangadi. Here the remains of a historical fort can still be seen. The ford was made in the 18th century and helped to defend the surrounding countryside. The place also offers a spectacular mountain view.

Day 3: Upper Dangadi to Chitwan National Park (trekking time 3-4 hours)
We make our final descent through mixed forest for about three hours to Shaktikhor and then drive approximately 2 hours to Chitwan National Park. The national park is listed as a World Heritage site. It’s one of the finest national parks in Asia, covering an area of 932 square kilometers and renowned for its variety of wildlife. Check into a community home stay, relax a bit and go for a village walk. Later we will attend a local cooking class and enjoy a dinner with traditional cultural dance.

Day 4: Chitwan National Park
Early in the morning you will do a canoe trip on the river to spot crocodiles on the surface and on the riverbanks. After that we will take a walk and when we have had our lunch, we will go on a jeep safari to see the wildlife. If it's in the monsoon period or jeeps are not allowed inside the park for other reasons, we will go on a cycling excursion through the cycling trail in the land of the etnic group the Tharus.

Day 5: Chitwan National Park to Kathmandu
We will leave after we have had our breakfast and drive back to Kathmandu.
