Embark on an immersive journey starting from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh, we'll head to charming Mekong Delta. First stop is Ba Kiet Ancient House, a cultural gem nestled in the heart of Cai Be. This well-preserved architectural masterpiece stands as a testament to the rich history and heritage of the region. Built over a century ago, Ba Kiet Ancient House exudes traditional Vietnamese charm with its intricate wooden carvings, antique furniture, and a layout that reflects the cultural nuances of a bygone era.
Continue to the picturesque Cai Be pier and ruise along the Cai Be River to explore a local crafts village, unveiling the art of making rice paper, candy, and com (young rice), followed by a refreshing honey tea experience. Glide against the water current, crossing the serene Tien River, and head to Tan Phong islet for a delightful rowboat ride through orchards. At noon, indulge in a lunch feast at a garden house before bidding farewell to Vinh Long Pier, where the car will pick you up and transfer to your serene accommodation in Can Tho.
Upon arrival, check-in and have some rest. We'll have a delicious yet exotic cooking class with traditional local dishes. After having dinner, free time at your own leisure.
